Academia is a wonderful Spanish immersion daycare in Austin that feels like a home away from home for our son! The teachers are incredibly caring and create a safe, warm environment where children feel free to be themselves. They really let the kids explore and play outdoors, making nature a big part of everyday learning. It’s a place where kids can get messy, try new things, and develop a love for discovery—all while picking up Spanish naturally. Academia is a gem for parents who want a nurturing space for their little ones to grow and learn!

Academia has been a fantastic experience for our three-year-old. The Spanish immersion program is truly effective; we’re amazed to see our child actually learning and using Spanish. The teachers are not only warm and welcoming but also give each child special attention, making them feel truly seen and supported. It’s a place where kids are encouraged to explore and learn freely, building a strong foundation and a genuine love for learning. Our kid comes home (dusty) and happy every single day. We couldn’t be happier with our choice—Academia is a wonderful place for intelligent kiddos who are avid explorers and learners!

Highly recommend! Such a warm and loving environment where kindness, adventure, and learning is promoted every day. My son started here when he was three and we had just moved from New York. Love that he was able to spend so much time outside creating adventures with his friends. They foster family involvement so we were able to meet other parents and have made some beautiful friendships along the way. Don’t hesitate to send your children here! We plan on sending our daughter as well!

We couldn’t be happier about our daughters experience at Academia Escolar Spanish Immersion School! Our daughter has attended for the last two years, and it has been amazing to watch her grow and thrive here. She looks forward to going every day, which is a testament to the warm and engaging environment the teachers create. She is now fluent in both English and Spanish, and we are impressed more and more each day with her overall development. The teachers are incredibly caring, and it truly feels like a second home for her. We already dread the day when she’ll have to move on to a new school.

Our youngest daughter attended Academia Preescolar at 3 years old. We were specifically looking for a Spanish Immersion program in 78704. Our family is dedicated to bilingualism and wanted to ensure our girls were prepared to start a dual language elementary school.
We brought our nanny, a retired Kinder teacher, with us to tour the school. She loved it and highly recommended his one out of the other three we toured. Our youngest was there for a year. We felt confident and comfortable with the staff there. They truly seemed dedicated to their craft and really seemed to care about the children in their care. We would definitely recommend it to any parents looking for a Spanish Immersion daycare.

We have been at AP since my daughter was 18months old. She's now 4 turning five in May and we stayed the extra year for a couple reasons. firstly, she absolutely loves the school and teachers and second, we wanted to solidify the adoption to the language. There are so many amazing things I can say about this school such as yoga, running, daily education lessons as well as art and making certain these kids learn through play outdoors!

I have wanted to leave a review for Academia for years now. I just recently enrolled our almost 2 year old daughter, and I am so happy about it and wanted to share my experience.
I don't know if I can put into words just how amazing this place is, but I will try. I have three daughters. My oldest two kids, now 9 and 7 both went to Academia from 18M - Kinder. Their time at Academia was pure magic. They loved the school. They loved the teachers. They loved their friends. When they had to leave to start Kinder, the cried for days because they wanted to be back at Academia. They would ask every day to go see their "moms" at Academia after school. Azgad, Pamela and all the teachers show genuine love to all the kids. They play with them, braid their hair, push them on the swing for hours, take them on walks, dance with them, sing to them...it's not a job to any of the adults at this place. They love the kids.
When I had my 3rd recently, she was too young to start at Academia, so we enrolled her at another highly rated daycare. I ended up pulling her from that daycare after 6 months because it felt sterile, cold and lacked that feeling you want to have when you leave your child with someone all day. When she was old enough to start at Academia they welcomed her like family. When I went to pick her up the first day, she was outside playing - looked up and saw me and kept playing. She loves being there, and it feels good to know that the hours she spends there each day are filled with joy.
Your kids will get dirty. They will come home with paint in their hair and watermelon juice on their clothes. They will play in mud puddles and learn how to swing on a swing independently. They will actually learn Spanish. Both of my older kids are fluent, and I credit that to Academia. They will become stronger, resilient kids - because they will spend the greater portion of their day outside with a bunch of kids of various ages. It is literally the best place on earth for a little growing mind. I can't recommend it enough.

Academia Preescolar was my son's first daycare experience at 18 months. The teachers quickly calmed all of our nerves as they all were so nurturing, caring and allowed us to gently phase him into the school. Their outdoor area is a kid's dream and I love how much time he was able to spend exploring outside. He was always so happy when we picked him up and it was evident that he was so loved there. I am still so impressed by the amount of Spanish he's picked up and retained! We recently moved out of state, but if we hadn't we would have kept him there forever. This place is magical and the teachers are angels on earth. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Taking our son here was our first experience with childcare and the staff made everything extremely comfortable for him and us as parents. The curriculum is very intentional and creates a warm environment that allows the children to learn and play in a very progressive manner. I was extremely impressed with how quickly our son began retaining and using Spanish. This school is exactly what every parent is looking for and I can’t recommend it enough.

Wonderful loving staff and every time I pick my kids up they don't want to leave. The spanish that has been picked up by my youngest is pretty amazing and my older daughter has been proactive about asking what things mean and using her new language. The outdoor area is exactly what I would want for my kids to have, full of different sensory options and plenty of room for imagination to flourish. Truely a gem in Austin.

The people who run this school are amazing. Azgad and Pamela really care about their students, and it shows. This was a great place for our child to spend two years, and not only did he learn to speak Spanish fluently, he also learned to have confidence in himself. Can't say enough good things about this place. Well worth it.

Academia is a magical little hidden gem that truly feels like the "Old Austin" that is harder and harder to find now. We started here with our first kiddo nearly a decade ago and can't imagine our life without the school or it's community.
